Meet The Kiss-terns: Becca Wojcinski

June 4, 2018

Hello!! My name is Rebecca Wojcinski, although I prefer to be called Becca. This summer, I will be working as one of the Events and Promotions interns and I could not be more excited. I am going into my Junior year at Ohio University where I am studying Journalism: Strategic Communication, which is focused on Public Relations and Advertising, with a minor in Marketing.

I used to be a Journalism: News and Information major, which was all about reporting and news writing... which I quickly figured out that I HATED. So, I switched to the more involved and hands-on side of journalism and now I couldn't be happier. At OU, I am the Vice President of an organization called the AcroNauts. This is an acro-yoga group that a few friends and I started on campus If you don't know what acro-yoga is, it is a combination of acrobatics and yoga, mainly focused on two people (one base and one flyer) doing the poses. Right before I started my position at Entercom, I went to Maui with those acro friends. I can honestly say that it was one of the best experiences of my life and Hawaii is the most beautiful place to be. Saying that it was like a dream is an understatement. So, if anyone ever has the chance to go to Hawaii... DO IT.

In addition to being the Entercom Intern, I will also be working at the Buffalo Gallery and Gift Shop in the Eastern Hills Mall in addition to working as a waitress at Darrell's Place in Middleport. Come visit and say hello some time.

I pretty much go to concerts like it's my job and well... now it is my job and I couldn't be luckier. My first concert I ever saw was Selena Gomez in sixth grade... and if I'm being honest, the only reason I went was to see Allstar Weekend as the opening act (I was obsessed with them... who am I kidding, was? Still am for sure). Ever since then, I have just felt at home at concerts. I go to at least three or four per summer with my best friend and Kerfuffle has always been a tradition with her. We have gone every year for the past few years and this year is no different. I will be working with Alt Buffalo during the concert, but she will also be there.

I feel so unbelievably lucky that I get to work for Entercom this summer and I know that this will be the best summer yet!
