Kiss-tern Update - Cheyenne Bruyere

August 1, 2018

Wow! August already??? Time flies when you're an intern at Entercom, that's for sure. It's that point of the summer where all the shows have eneded and it's back to business as usual. So now I have some time to catch everyone up on what i've done since my last post! We've had a few more events since the beginning of July. I helped work the WGR Golf Tournament! I spent the day with fellow staff member Stephi manning the tent for one of our sponsors. We talked to golfers and other sponsors and spent a fun day in the sun with the rest of our amazing team! I also had an amazing time working our event, Brews and Wines on the Water. I got to see some amazing live music while working as a vendor assistant which allowed me to talk with and get to know some really awesome people and businesses. It may have rained a little bu that didn't stop any of us from having a great day and an even better event.

I've also done some work around the office in my down time! I've made lots of phone calls to prize winners, helped organize prizes and merch, and run pre and post show errands! One of the best memories I have from just being in the office is listening to some interviews the station did with Bachelorette contestant, Jason Tartick. I'm a huge fan of the show so knowing that this guy I'm such a big fan of was being interviewed by my own station was such a crazy experience!

Overall this experience has been something I'll always carry with me and remember. I feel blessed that I was given this opportunity and would highly recommend this internship to everyone who shares my interests! I only have a few weeks left before heading back to Fredonia and i'll be extremely sad to leave this place and these people behind. I don't know what the future holds but I hope it leads me back to Entercom.
