Kiss-tern: One Month Later...

July 2, 2018

Hey everyone! Cheyenne here! Time flies when you're having fun (And working like crazy)!!! This past month has been an incredible learning experience. I've been able to perform small tasks around the office that have helped me grow and expand my communication skills in a professional environment, while also learning what truly goes into making a station of this volume run as effeciently as it does. Not only that but I've been fortunate enough to be on the staff for the very shows I grew up going to! Kerfuffle, Kiss The Summer Hello, and Starry Night In The Garden...and that's only the beginning!

I've had the opportunity to work some pretty cool jobs at these shows too! At Starry Night I was able to help extensively with set up while also working an information tent. This was awesome because it allowed me to learn in depth about an event of that scale on a more behind the scenes level and be able to answer questions I never would have known how to answer before. For Kerfuffle I was able to work various tents that allowed me to see how things like VIP, Signing, and Meet & Greet events run. It was hands on and eye opening, but it made for a great learning experience that was more fun than I ever could have imagined. Kiss The Summer Hello was probably my favorite. I had the amazing opportunity to be the social media assistant for this show. I was able to go into the press areas/backstage and take really cool up-close photos of the huge crowd and the artists as well. The picture above is actually one of the pictures I took of Alessia Cara! I met some really interesting people and did a job I never thought I'd do, and I loved every second of it.

I can't wait to see what else this summer has in store for me. I'm so blessed to be working here at Entercom, and I'm excited for all the adventures and learning experiences to come!
