Greg: How I Remember 9/11

Nobody can forget where they were when they found out about 9/11.  I was living on the West Coast at the time so if you live in Buffalo I probably found out about it after you did that day. My alarm went off that morning and on the radio I was hearing something about a plane crashing into the World Trade Center. To be honest, I at first thought it was a joke. I mean come on, a plane crashed into the World Trade Center!?! So I hit the snooze and went back to sleep.  But when the alarm went off again 10 mins later and they were still talking about it, I knew something was up. So I turned on the TV only to see one of the buildings at that point on fire.

Now with as horrific a day as that was, I also right away recognized the importance of it and how this was going to be a day that will be remembered forever. So I went out and bought every newspaper & magazine I could find talking about what happened and kept collecting them as the weeks went on. Since 9/11, I lived in 7 different cities in 4 different states.  But I've taken this collection with me wherever I've gone to help ensure that I'll never forget.....
