During her talk show this week, Kelly Clarkson gave us all an incredibly powerful moment as she chose to perform “The Climb”, the hit track Miley Cyrus sang for Hannah Montana: The Movie.

During the Kellyoke segment, Clarkson’s powerful vocals and raw emotion reminded fans that we will all overcome the difficult times we are in now. One also could not help but feel the energy Kelly was emoting since she is also facing personal struggles at the moment.

During a recent interview with Demi Lovato on her talk show, Clarkson opened up about battling depression each day and dealing with mental health. "I love how open you are about mental health because I have similar issues, and I suffer from depression. I think a lot of people, especially in the creative world or just from childhood even, [are] kind of trained to just keep going and 'you can handle it,’” Kelly shared with Demi.

In June the singer and talk show host filed for divorce from her husband of seven years, Brandon Blackstock.

Although Kelly has achieved pique fame, she, just like many others are facing shifts in relationships, the stress of the pandemic, and mental health issues. We admire that she can continue to share her intimate thoughts and feelings with us through The Kelly Clarkson Show and through the power of her voice.
