Meet Daya!

Another Kissmas Bash 2016 Star!

October 31, 2016

Daya is another one of our Kissmas Bash 2016 stars! Daya is a singer/song writer born in Pittsburg, PA. Her real name is Grace but she was given her stage name by her Grandfather, which is an Indian word that translates into “Kindness” or “Compassion”.  Daya was a classically trained pianist by age 11 and she can also play the guitar, ukulele, saxophone, and flute. In 2015, Daya was discovered after a writing session at the Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. Her hit song ‘Hide Away’ was written during that session.  That song would go Top 10 around the world and become certified Platinum in many countries including the US.  Early in 2016, Daya teamed up with Kissmas Bash co-stars, The Chainsmokers, as the voice on their song ‘Don’t Let Me Down’.  In April, Daya released her 2nd sold single ‘Sit Still, Look Pretty’. Both smash singles can be found on her self-titled debut EP ‘DAYA’.  While she has only been releasing music for 2 years, Daya has performed for some pretty important people. She was the featured guest last spring at the White House Easter Egg Roll, performing in front of thousands, including Barack and Michelle Obama.

Daya joins DNCE, Jake Miller, The Chainsmokers, JoJo, Jon Bellion & Jacob Whitesides at Kissmas Bash 2016. Limited VIP Meet & Greet tickets & Floor seats remain. Get your tickets by clicking HERE!
